A brief update as we continue to work away on many and various aspects of the Hut34 Project. We’re pleased to announce that in addition to ENTRP trading at EtherDelta, we have been listed at token.store — a new decentralised exchange with strong UX, and great potential for growth.
Our labs are also exploring the 0x protocol, and we expect to be able to integrate with many of the new decentralised exchanges as they launch and grow — it’s an exciting time in this space.
Liquidity is essential to the smooth running of the Hut34 Network, and the key feature of the 0x protocol that excites us is the ability to relay orders off chain, thus reducing costs, and increasing the speed and power of price discovery. The technology is moving at a rapid pace now, and it was great to read about direct trading between hardware wallets — just one example of something that would be completely impossible in a centralised paradigm.
Not only does the decentralised paradigm offer advantages as technology marches on, it operates squarely with the values of a trustless system, unlike centralised exchanges which store a significant amount of risk as their customers require them to continue to operate in order to realised any value stored therein.
A listing at a centralised exchange would of course also likely provide some assistance with liquidity and price discovery for the Entropy Token, however we firmly believe that the opportunities of decentralised exchanges are going to bear significant fruit this year, and are ultimately a better, less risky paradigm going forward — expect to hear much more from us on this front!
