That was a great piece and it unraveled a lot for me. I was about 7 or 8 when they were on TV, and older kids made fun of my fandom by smugly saying, “You know they don’t play their own instruments.” I saw half of them (Davey and Mickey) play their hits about 15 years ago and both men were having one fabulously happy time.
