November 1st, 2019

Hxro Games is pleased to bring the power of the Bitcoin Lightning Network to the Hxro platform, working with OpenNode, a bitcoin-only payment processor.
Now players can send bitcoin to their platform wallets instantly and with low fees.
Hxro Games Co-Founder Rob Levy stated:
“We are thrilled to offer our growing global user base a fast and easy way to fund their play through the Bitcoin Lightning Network. OpenNode provides a turnkey solution that allows our players to micro-transact BTC quickly and cost-effectively. We believe that Lightning Network — the layer 2 protocol — will continue to evolve and deliver a better user experience for transacting with bitcoin, helping the overall growth and scalability of the Bitcoin Network.”
Bermuda based Hxro Games, Ltd. runs games that merge trading with social gameplay and has rapidly grown to thousands of registered users.
In Hxro’s first game offering, MoonRekt, users play bitcoin price action in an exciting multiplayer format that lasts five minutes. On August 15th, the platform began accepting on-chain bitcoin payments for contest entry. Hxro is now pleased to accept instant bitcoin payments via the Lightning Network.
Disclaimer: OpenNode is a bitcoin-only payment processor. OpenNode does not endorse nor have any affiliation with any cryptocurrency/token beyond bitcoin.
