HXRO By the Numbers
January 2020 was a milestone month for Hxro. We experienced explosive growth in platform transactions and volume.
Volume on Hxro’s flagship MoonRekt contracts grew by 267% from December to January. BTC MoonRekt grew by 317%. Additionally, we’ve registered more than 14,000 new users to the platform over the December/January period. Growth was largely attributed to the launch of 1-minute and daily expirations available in both HXRO and BTC denominations as well as an increase in our global marketing.
Stack HXRO | Trade BTC
Hxro rebate incentives are designed for traders to “Stack HXRO and Trade BTC”. When you maintain HXRO balances in your on-platform wallet of greater than 1000 HXRO, you are automatically eligible to earn rebates back on your fees. As you balances grow, your rebate percentage increases as well (per the table below). This gives you a great opportunity to earn back significant amounts of BTC each month.
Hxro is pleased to announce it will integrate Ethereum scaling solution, Matic Network (MATIC) into its platform.
Hxro opened its doors to one of the most vibrant and active communities in crypto, Matic Network (MATIC). The integration will introduce the Matic community of more than 60,000 users to the Hxro platform. Existing Hxro users will also have the option to use Matic for exchanging Ethereum and other ERC-20 tokens for HXRO on platform.
Hxroic Development Updates
As usual, our Hxroic engineering team had a busy month. In January, we pushed two major additions to the platform:
- Launched MoonRekt Daily BTC/USD — Traders are now able to take a view on the daily candle by building positions on daily MoonRekt contracts. The daily close is one of the most important settlement periods of the trading day. The previous days closing price can provide alot of information around positioning and sentiment.
- Launch of API Developer Hub — We are thrilled to announce that the Hxro API is now available to the public for use by automated trading systems and third party technology providers. January 2019 site improvements:
Optimizations were performed on the platform interface including:
- Jitter reduction on mobile UI
- Reduction of platform load time
- Improvements to Angular UI to increase performance
- Fully tested documentation of the Hxro User API
- Database queries for contest entry streamlined and improved entry time by 25%
- Configuration updated to allow smooth scrolling in mobile UI
- Reduced CPU load of the front end by 30% through refactoring data flows for contest data
Security and Infrastructure Enhancements
- We deployed new adaptive security measures to further enhance platform security
- Enhanced our cloud footprint to allow for future platform improvements
- Upgraded ETH/HXRO scanner to improve platform conversion UX
HXRO Token Market:
The HXRO Token closed January 2020 at $0.080953. The token saw a 60.2% increase in volume this month compared to December 2019 data.
