The Century My Voice Broke

My image:

The guitar has been part of my life since around Year 2. However, I haven’t taken the instrument seriously up until Year 8. Now I strive to be a decent guitar player, able to play semi-hard songs with a few tries.

My Poem: He Laughed with a Laugh

He laughed with a laugh

that he wished was his laugh,

but everyone knew it wasn’t.

When he laughed he would ask,

“Does that sound like my laugh?”

and everyone said, “It doesn’t.”

The laugh that he laughed

that wasn’t his laugh went

“Hardy har har, guffaw!”

The laugh that he laughed

that he wished wasn’t his went,

“Hruck, sniffle-hick, hee-haw!"

This poem is kind of about discovering yourself.

Song:

I Gotta Feeling — The Black Eyed Peas

I gotta feeling that tonight’s gonna be a good night
That tonight’s gonna be a good night
That tonight’s gonna be a good, good night

A feeling that tonight’s gonna be a good night
That tonight’s gonna be a good night
That tonight’s gonna be a good, good night

A feeling, woohoo, that tonight’s gonna be a good night
That tonight’s gonna be a good night
That tonight’s gonna be a good, good night

A feeling, woohoo, that tonight’s gonna be a good night
That tonight’s gonna be a good night
That tonight’s gonna be a good, good night

Tonight’s the night, let’s live it up
I got my money, let’s spend it up
Go out and smash it like oh my God
Jump off that sofa, let’s get, get off

This song is what motivates me, giving me a positive experience. This was also a graduation song. Not mine though, my brothers.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
