DNX interview — LOGDINO : digital nomad conference in Seoul

Hi, I’m lucy of LOGDINO — digital nomad conference in Seoul. We are going to hold it at 14th Oct in Seoul, South of Korea. We’d like to share digital nomad experience via LOGDINO for wanna be a digital nomad. Before opening LOGDINO, we thought we need to time to share speaker’s story.

So, here is DNX — Digital Nomad Coworking & Coliving CAMPS interview.

1. DNX is well known for it has a lot of project and conference in the world. What is DNX’s new project for digital nomads?

The next big DNX Conferences will happen in Buenos Aires, Argentina in March 2017 and in Lisbon, Portugal in September 2017. More infos on www.dnxglobal.com.

One of our latest projects are the DNX — Digital Nomad Coworking & Coliving CAMPS in tropical places all around the world: www.dxncamp.com.

We offer a program that features WiFi, accommodations, fitness opportunities, and plenty of activities. You’ll go on amazing adventures with like-minded people and create experiences and memories that will last for the rest of your life.

It is all organized so you can focus more on your business and the unique experience. It is very important for us to create unique, small groups in order to give all participants the best experience possible. That’s why spaces are limited and we take the time to carefully review and interview all applications for the CAMP. The DNX community shares similar values, have big visions and want to make a change in the world. Magic happens when you bring the right people together and you will grow your business for sure.

In the future we will have an own DNX ISLAND and a stable Coworking place where we do events and bring together the smartest people on the planet to solve real world issues in all areas of life. We believe that Digital Nomadism itself should not be the goal. However if you reach more freedom and self-determination this is the gate to also improve other areas of your life such as health, spirituality, family & friends, Personal Growth…. If you live a happy and fulfilled live you are better able to help others and give the world something back.

2. Could you tell us difficult and benefit, when you work with various people in the world?

The biggest benefit we have as a Digital Nomad is the ultimate freedom on all levels of life. We can work from everywhere, meet new people and cultures, do lots of sports and live a healthy lifestyle.

A big advantage of solopreneurs and Digital Nomads is that you need no office and automate processes so that you do not need a big team that saves a lot of costs especially if you are starting out. If you work with a team of freelancers all around the world there are however other challenges such as communication or workflows.

But for everything there is a solution. You can for example use Tools like “Slack” to chat with your team, communicate via Skype and create SOP (Standard Operation Processes) for special workflows.

Depending on your business different timezones can be an advantage or disadvantage. Think of this: Some companies can offer 24 hours customer service as they have employees all over the world.

3. Do you have standard of place when you prepare for the global conference?

We always look for a location where the visa restrictions are good for everyone and that can be reached easily. Furthermore we choose countries / cities where is a good season at the time we wanna do our conference. We love unconventional event locations because we are doing something huge and are changing the world.

4. Do you have any plan for holding your digital nomad conference in South of Korea?

Our next conferences in 2017 will be in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Lisbon, Portugal. We don’t know yet where the next ones after that will be. We keep Korea in mind!

5. Lastly, Do you have a comment to Korean digital nomads?

The world is changing. The time has never been better to start as freelancer or to start your own business. There are more and more Digital Nomads all around the world as well as Coworking Spaces. The housing options for Nomads get better and better.

Thanks to technology there is no more need to stay in one place your whole life. Experience and enjoy what the world has to offer and meet a lot of friendly people all around the world.
