Map3 Cloud node (v0.8) staking for global community is available now.
Project Updates
Hyperion launched Map3 cloud node (v0.8) staking contract on the 28th April, which opens for global HYN holders to support decentralized map services and earn staking rewards by running or delegation a node. A node contract improves the threshold of a service node deployment via HYN delegation, while setting the delegation fee low enough to encourage participation. Each contract requires a wallet address (public key) to verify the node validity with.
Prior to the mainnet launch, each node initiator will get a free Map3 cloud node, without having to deploy it via Amazon Cloud. When a contract completes, delegators will receive service reward according to the three level of lock-up periods, which is 30 days (8%), 90 days (12%), and 180 days (16%). In May, we will upgrade the contract renewal function, to make it easier for delegators to earn a compound reward via re-delegation. We will also update the number of HYNs burnt on-chain in future monthly reports.
Hyperion passed the security auditing by SlowMist
Hyperion project has completed a comprehensive security audit of the Map3 smart contract and code by the SlowMist security team, which includes but not limited to overflow audit, conditional competition audit, authorization control audit, design logic audit, security design audit, etc.
SlowMist focuses on blockchain ecosystem security. They were created by a team of founders with extensive experience in the frontlines of offensive and defensive cyber security. They have shared security expertise with such companies and government bodies as Google, Microsoft, W3C, Huobi the China Ministry of Public Security, Tencent, and Alibaba. Slow Mist’s core capabilities include security auditing, deploying defensive systems, and underground hacker tracking and prevention.

Titan Downloads
So far, 59,606 users have joined Titan map global community to provide feedbacks on recent new product features to improve Titan, and downloaded the app to contribute to decentralized map data.
Live Video Streams
Hyperion’s co-founder Mr. Kai Law has recorded 3 videos this month, including live streams. The topics cover<The fall of USD and rise of BTC>, < Blueprint of a magnificent world, the future of blockchain>, <What is Blockchain>. The videos have over 1.08 million views across varoius platforms by the end of this month, and attracted 9,139 subscribers globally. We have over 2.8 million views across domestics and overseas mainstream media platforms for our articles. This month, Hyperion has cooperated with three new blockchain media platforms, and published project updates on blockchain and traditional media platforms such as finacerun, qufen, and Token Club TechChina, South Enterprise News, NetEase, Sohu, Toutiao, Baidu, ifeng, Jinse, Huoxing24, QBI Community, and AICoin, etc.
