Automatically adding candidates who applied via job boards

When you post a job on job boards, you start getting responses in your email inbox. Here’s how you can directly add those into your candidate database in HYRNG instead of email inbox.

There’re three ways:

1. Redirect applicants from job board to your career website

In case you can redirect applicants from a job board and make them apply through your career website, follow these steps. This is the most preferred approach as all information will be correctly stored in your database without relying on parsing.

2. Receive applications at HYRNG email address

In case you cannot take approach #1 above, use a HYRNG-generated email address to receive responses directly from a job board. Check out how to set it up.

If you’re using Naukri’s ‘Hot Vacancies’ (which allows you to add any email address for receiving applications), this is the approach you can take.

3. Forward applications to HYRNG email address

In case it’s difficult to take approaches #1 or #2 above, auto-forward responses from your email inbox to a HYRNG-generated email address. For this, you need to set up auto forwarding in your email client.

If you’re using Naukri’s ‘Classified Listings’ (which requires you to select from 2 registered email addresses for receiving applications), this is the suitable approach for you.


By taking any of these approaches above, candidates will be automatically added in your database in HYRNG, and also automatically linked with a position. Another great thing is that the name of a job board (i.e., the original source of candidates) will be recorded in HYRNG, so that you can accurately analyze effectiveness of sourcing channels. Needless to say, duplicate check is automatically taken care of.
