Setting ‘Shortlist Criteria’
You can define a set of criteria for each position and let HYRNG take care of the initial screening.
- For an existing position, open the position and click EDIT..

- Select AUTO FILTER tab.

- In SHORTLIST CRITERIA section, check the criteria you want to apply, and uncheck those criteria that are not relevant or required.
- Adjust specific criteria (such as years of work experience, salary range and notice period).
- Click SAVE.
Q: How it works?
If a candidate newly linked with a position matches with all of the checked Shortlist Criteria, such a candidate will be marked as ‘Shortlisted’ with green star mark in HR Screening stage. So, you can prioritize and look into such a candidate.

Q: What if a candidate meets one or more criteria but not all the criteria?
If a candidate does not match with all of the check-marked Shortlist Criteria, such a candidate will not be automatically shortlisted (i.e., system will not automatically add a star mark).
Q: Does the criteria apply to all the candidates newly linked to a position?
No, Shortlist Criteria will not be applied if Admin or HR team manually link a candidate to a position. For example, Shortlist Criteria will not be applied if you link a candidate to a position while newly adding them to your HYRNG candidate database, or if you link a candidate already existing in your HYRNG database to a position.
In other words, Shortlist Criteria will be applied to those candidates who (i) applied to a position by themselves through career website or job boards, (ii) are referred by employees, or (iii) are submitted by recruitment agencies.
