Raya Qurban

Raya Qurban or Eid al-Adha is a well known public holiday in Malaysia. Celebrated by muslim every year to

honors the willingness of Abraham (Ibrahim) to sacrifice his promised son, Ishmael (Ismail), as an act of submission to God’s command. (from Wikipedia)

This year’s Qurban might be the best Raya Qurban I’ve ever had so far.

Day 1

Day 1: At Kosas

This photo was took at Taman Kosas. A small gathering with my relatives during the first day of Raya Qurban. We had laksa, lontong and some typical malay dishes and it is awesome!

Day 2

The journey did not stop there. For the second day of raya, we travel to Shah Alam (it is not that far from Ampang, actually) to Dr. Shikin’s. This is also a small gathering for the SV Charted April 18 group. Me and my family first met Dr Shikin and his husband, Rusli during my umrah trip last April.

Day 2: At Dr. Shikin’s

Day 3

Back to work. A hectic week in BP. *sigh*

Thanks for the wonderful food, moment and time. Till we meet again in the next Qurban.
