Compared to recent years, 2020 Pride Month is going to be very different. We are in the midst of a pandemic which is affecting Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) people disproportionately. This week, we are also at a tipping point in the state and federal-led brutalities against the Black communities both in the US and other western countries. This is no ordinary Pride Month.
