Make an Epic “Snow-Lapse” with the Phone or Camera You Already Own

I have a GoPro Hero 2 and like to do sunset time lapse videos. I have several that I haven’t processed yet, just sitting on one of my external drives. I find it to get pretty grainy, fairly quick once low light sets in.

Other than having some things built into the 4 that I need “backpacks” for on my 2, is their any advantage to upgrading? Has capture or any other features improved enough to justify the upgrade? I’m satisfied with 30 FPS, I know the 4 supports 60 FPS.

I keep eyeballing the Hero 4 every time I run into it, sell me on the idea of upgrading, give me an excuse to upgrade.
