Submitting to the App Store stuck at “Authenticating with the iTunes Store” in XCode: part 2

If you’ve tried the previous fix here and XCode is still stuck at this step please make sure XCode isn’t running and try:

Open Terminal.app (Applications → Utilities → Terminal.app) and enter:

• rm -rf ~/.itmstransporter/
• “/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Applications/Application Loader.app/Contents/itms/bin/iTMSTransporter”
• Wait a while
• Problem solved! :)

Warning: The rm command will remove your .itmstransporter folder so if you want to save a copy do that first.
