That is some helping of incoherent diatribe! Total nonsense not atypical of core devs.

First off, it is you that suggested a scenario where all the current full mining nodes have been captured by government, not me. But you failed to show the usefulness of non-mining full nodes on a network where all mining nodes have been captured.

Further, and this is digressing, if core choose to deploy an ASIC resistant PoW, they’ll have an alt coin simply because they can NEVER get such an upgrade activated using the long established upgrade mechanism on the bitcoin network. The very same principle underpinning that also makes your (core’s) claim to the bitcoin brand laughable.

But you are going even further by re-defining bitcoin as a specific repository on Github. How desperate and pathetic can you lot be to get to a point where you say such? Where on earth did the notion of core being a reference client go to? Anyway, on this specific issue just so you know, the August status report for SegWit2x has confirmed that the btc1 repository is going to be maintained past the NYA working group remit thus becoming the new bitcoin reference client (read more here: https://lists.linuxfoundation.org/pipermail/bitcoin-segwit2x/2017-August/000265.html )

I’d very much like to continue with dispelling your half-truths but I also realise that you are now part of a group that have failed the community and having been found out and found wanting when put to the task, are fighting to remain relevant. At this point I’d normally wish you all the luck but I know it is a futile effort. core have been expunged and the bitcoin ecosystem will be the better for it.
