Light colors

Light colors are considered a ‘must’ for small spaces. These color palettes help the area look more spacious and broad, and provide a sense of cleanliness. White is an all-time-favorite for bathrooms. Keep in mind that you don’t have to keep it all under the same hue, you can play around with the colors. You can combine it with a sink polished in different colors, such as concrete, stone-colors, or even with a gorgeous onyx-finished touch! All of them, are a definite fashion statement today, when it comes to interior design. This will transform your room, and give it a very modern look.

Take every space

Any space within a small space, is always an opportunity. These rooms have to look well-organized and clear, so you must take advantage of any space –little & hidden– within your bathroom and use it to store things.

For instance, use the gap below the sing, even if you don’t have one built-in. This particular space is ideal for placing towels, toilet paper, soap and beauty or cleaning products. And if you don’t have classic furniture, you can use a small closet or shelves, so the space isn’t wasted.

There’s nothing better to give depth and spacious looks to your bathroom than a mirror. These are practically a MUST, because most of our personal care is carried out in the bathroom. Choose a large one, it will be very useful and will make your bathroom look spacious and warm.

Changes, changes, changes

If you want to give your bathroom a modern touch, but do not have a large budget, there are small things you can do to renew your bathroom without spending a fortune.

The first thing you have to do is change the little things that do not cost a lot of money; for example, changing the soap dispenser for one with a nice finish, like onyx, crystal or any material you like. Ideally, your toothbrush holder needs to match with the dispenser.

Another thing that can give your bathroom a fresh look is to change the towels. Choose one color and have all your towels (body, hands, etc.) the same color. An idea that you may want to try out is to place a basket with rolled-up towels, for a very nice touch.

Get rid of all your toilet covers, they were in fashion some years ago, but today that only make your bathroom décor look old and un-pretty. Try placing only a mat outside your shower or bath; you can choose a vinyl one, or even the classic fluffy-plush one.
