The reason why I said that enlightenment is an all or nothing kind of game is because I equate enlightenment with freedom, and in that sense there is no being partially free or enjoying freedom only this or that time of the day. Freedom means freedom, totally and completely. In the same way I view enlightenment, there is no partial enlightenment. In this regard it is all or nothing.

Enlightenment means the surrendering of the separate self to the universal being, and only in this is there total freedom.
