Success is hard work, but these 3 steps will make you reach it

As regular Medium readers, we are fully aware that success does not come overnight.

Success, in my definition, is a mixture of ingredients as having the ‘right’ mindset, an dedicated action and some amount of chance or luck is inevitably involved.

Actually, all these three relate with each other. A positive and growth mindset helps to get us into action. Action itself often leads us to open up new opportunities (chance) which might have occurred otherwise. Chance, eventually may lead to a boost in our mindset and so on…

Let’s talk about action!

“Have a bias toward action – let’s see something happen now. You can break that big plan into small steps and take the first step right away.” ~ Indira Gandhi

Take initiative

The first step may be a small step, but it is the most important steps of all. Do not think much more, just go forward. No exception.

Reach to others

In order to reach whatever you are pursuing, you can’t do everything on your own. You will need others as part of success. Success is never for the benefit of your self only. Asking help is not a sign of weakness, it is a sign of your way to success.

Learn from failures

Success is the equation of a number of failures. While failures have a negative connotation, they deserve respect, more than for reaching success. Success, as much as failure, is not an end-state, but an remembering event, in which you prepare to take on the next step. Sometimes you win, the other times you learn. Learning is also a manifestation of success.

I believe that action is the biggest contributor, but also in amplifying the Mindset and Chance factors towards success. Please share your knowledge and understanding on (the factors of) success.

If you are interested in how Mindset and Chance play their game in success, please applaud. I love to share, as long as it helps others.
