Dear Women …

Dear Women,

I have always been fond of your kind, not because I am a man but because you are interesting. You complete the mankind like it has never been completed before. You are like the sea-shell that we found around the beaches. The sea-shells don’t belong to the beach but once in a while, it offers itself to the kid as a form of gratitude, to make him realise that the world is not so bad. Woman are tremendous in its entirety, the depth that they can bring in any given relation is a feat of its own kind.

We have talked about rationalism and we have talked about equality but no one really talks about what a woman is. To offer her a mere position in the society would be to demean her contribution in shaping it, according to me. She deserves a lot more than that. She deserves an acknowledgement because a woman is one of the entities that governs the universe. ’Tis so pure that it should not be measured on any morals created by man. It should be measured on the morals of the universe. I personally believe that a woman is limitless. It raises the question, why are you following the society then?

The society is not created by the men who were strong enough to rule the world, it is created by the people who didn’t have the courage to accept the changes. The changes didn’t suit their needs and hence, the result is today’s miserable society that is full of contradiction. Why are we quarrelling to change that? Who are we fighting against? It is said that a clever enemy is better than a foolish friend. Why are we demanding equality? Do you fancy the same status as the man has in the society? Or are you demanding the same luxuries that man have?

Truth be told, a man is a weaker gender. It neither has the courage to take a stand on its own nor it has the audacity to leave the society which is rotting with old principles and reeking of dead customs. A woman is different. She is the harbinger of strength. If history is any indication then we know that any man who has ever dared to raise his voice or a sword against the authority had a woman behind her. We had blamed the woman for that, but we should have applauded her, instead. A man would never rally enough strength for another man but he would surely sacrifice his life for a woman, that speaks volumes about the motivation a woman could bring. Now, since the cat’s out of the bag — do you really want to be like a man?

Let’s address the fourteen hundred pound elephant in the room, the society of our nation is ruled and governed on the age-old customs of religion that has no regards for women. Even if it had, it has been ruined now. To respect a woman is to directly challenge the authority of men, which is offensive in today’s society because it will give rise to competition. The concept of predominant alpha-male would be lost. The silver lining is that most of the literate people are aware of the fact that women are oppressed, but not all of them. Unfortunately, those who aren’t oppressed are complaining more than the one who is. This creates a collision and invites a debate over the internet that has seen end or justification to this date. Judging by the intensity and futility of the arguments this will never end. We don’t want an endless stream of arguments.

I have been blessed, I have had some amazing women in my life. They are smart, they are strong and they care about the world and me. In the truest manner, this is the fundamental strength of a woman. You have the amazing ability to take care of people where the entire mankind loses hope. From giving birth to a baby to nurturing it, transforming the baby into something that no one could ever foresee. You have the strength to control the future. Isn’t it beautiful to have the strength that no one ever has? I understand that womankind should be acknowledged and rewarded for such inefficacious exercise.

The debate is still going on and the battle is fought against the people who are already aware of women’s strength. Does it really matter fighting the battle on the internet where 70% of the audience believes that women should not be disrespected? Or should you take the battle to the field, to the areas where people have no access to the internet or have no access to your arguments? Why fighting the battle where it’s easy. You have already won the battle on the internet. Now, it’s time to take the battle to where the problem actually lies. The villages, to the people who have no idea where the world is going.

As a man, I request the pseudo-feminists to not spoil my experiences of a woman by being stupid and illogical, for in my head woman are smart, at least, most of them are and I love them as much as I could.
