Upon the Thames..
Standing Upon the Thames, I wonder
Mesmerised and lost in its splendour
I see shades of blue with patches of green
Is this the place where my soul had been?
Blue, the hue boggles my mind to believe
As I apperceive
The light disperses in air
And the same light scatters in the water, there
To render colour to the colourless hue
Then why is that light the colour, Blue?
I think of its scheme and pause for a dream
Watching waters of the river gleam down the stream
Hours later, I shun thinking and give in to nature
Only to admire it’s nomenclature
How intoxicating is this shade of blue!
I venerate holding a bottle of Malibu
