Really? You don't use GitHub, GItLab, BitBucket or anything like that? You just push to a repo over the network?
Is that actually a thing you do or do you actually use a GUI for git quite a lot?
I have used half a dozen version a control systems over the last 25 years and I doubt either of us knows exactly what is going with git when you execute a given command.
If you have never looked at the source code for it to try and work out what is going to fix an issue then I'm sure you don't.

Given how much everyone loves data and making decisions based on facts I decided to try and collate and publish the data for panel guests on the show.
I am sure having the data in an accessible format will finally settle all debate around bias of guests once and for all and allow us to focus on the issues.

My opinion on create-react-app is that it was a great starting point to get over the complexity of setting everything up in a new project, but I actually think it’s harmful to use in new projects.
