SOUND THE TRUMPETS!

DONALD TRUMP’S JERICHO SONIC-BOOM STRATEGY TO HIJACK THE REPUBLICAN PARTY IS PAYING OFF: Witness Ye Olde Cracks in the Wall

With the 2016 U.S. Super-Tuesday races now come and gone, ultimately giving way to Wake-Up-Call Wednesday, hangover tonics in order, whatever it might take to get you used to the sound of it… here goes: “Ladies and Gentlemen, the President of these United States, Mr. Donald Trump.” OK, maybe a morning shot of whiskey in your tea is permissible, for today… <Bottoms up!>

March 1st, 2016 was an historic day for the Republican party, likely going down as the day it sprung, nay, had revealed and exposed, a major leak in its foundational wall; a giant crack, that began to form back in 2007–2008 when TEA became offered and ultimately, now, featured on the party menu. Concealing or ignoring this crack, by the prevailing Trumpian wisdom (and outright threats) could (and ultimately already has) proven fatal to all those downstream of it. In fact, many have been left floating upright, in the wake of Trump’s toxic sonic booms. Glug, glug, glug!

Indeed, like Joshua of the Biblical epic of Jericho, Donald Trump has sounded the trumpets, effectively telling all those within the walls of Washington, to either ‘evacuate, join him or fall’. This populist message, whilst appealing to no more than 35% of his primary/caucus attending Republicans, (and perhaps a slice of independents and otherwise non-voters) will likely never resonate, up-sell of withstand the scrutiny of the U.S. general electorate. …But it does make for better entertainment and even ratings than CBS’s Survivor, doesn’t it?

<<Oh my, Mr. Rubio, what big ears you have!>>

The better to hear your rhetoric, my dear!

<<Oh my Mr. Trump, what small hands you have!>>

The better to crush you with, my dear!

…If only so-called mainstream Republicans were truly listening and appreciating what was going on here, months ago! Alas, “…To sleep perchance to dream”.

See, unlike the Biblical narrative, Trump is sounding his trumpets from within the walled-city, threatening to take it down from the inside-out, and already, doing a pretty good job at it, with little help needed from either of the two democrats challenging his potential future presidential bid. His Republican rivals, to date, have been more or less satisfied running around their walled city like toddlers, covering their ears while repeating over and over again, “we’re not listening, we’re not listening…

This all changed on March 2, 2016, TODAY. Now, everyone has to listen, otherwise, presumably, the walls will fall and by golly, let the Mitch McConnell’s and Paul Ryan’s fall where they may. Mark it on your calendars, March 2, 2016 was the day Donald Trump declared WAR on the Republican Party establishment, ultimately putting it on a collision course, with itself.

And yet despite this insurmountable reality, Republicans are still somehow hoping by some magical outcome or formula, to win a general election?! Not even the most stringent voter ID laws or magical genie in the bottle should help them accomplish this unachievable outcome.

Tuesday’s primary and caucus returns exposed the perhaps somewhat daunting fact that there are two white elephants in the room, charging at each other, neither of whom even comes close to embracing or embodying the values of Lincoln or Reagan, ironically, the two most often tooted and touted backbone party loyalists and adherents.

Aside from mutual annihilation, which might yet still happen this particular election cycle, the only other outcome one might prognosticate forward is that the Republican Party seems destined to implode into two, perhaps even three pieces, not because of Donald Trump, but because of the preexisting cracks in the wall he has so masterfully exposed and aggrandized.

If the walls of Jericho are in fact destined to fall, again, at least as far as the Republican Party goes, perhaps this might yield to a more centrist political offering for Americans, one with a larger tent and with greater appeal?

…Enter Donald Trump?

I’m just saying… he’s the one who entered, with his sonic booms, incendiary remarks and almost stalwart determination to leave his mark on the party of Lincoln, right?

And like all good wall-builders, Mr. Trump knows that before you can build, often, you must destroy. He is applying this business schematic to his current take-over bid of the Republican Party, and make no mistake, this is a hostile takeover, almost Biblical in proportion given the long-standing history of the GOP, not to mention who and what Mr. Trump is steamrolling over, already.

Like him or not, Mr. Trump’s 2016 Presidential bid is doing a service to future political discourse in the U.S., odd as that may seem, presently to liberals and conservatives alike. For, it’s not what he’s saying, which is often so below the brow that it shouldn’t even be repeated; but what he’s trying to do… He’s trying to reposition the Republican party more to the center, and making no apologies about how he’s going about doing it. What nobody is giving him due credit for is that he is doing it, without his so-called Tea-Party base even being aware of it. No one else could have emerged at this time in the U.S. political cycle capable of forcing the Republican Party more to the ideological center other than this modern-day Joshua.

…After all, if HE doesn’t do it, the so-called walls with fall. U.S. Republicanism, as we’ve known it will go the way of the city of Jericho, something to be dug up by future archaeologists and deemed as archaic and useful as a fossilized piece of dinosaur dung.

Anyone who thinks a President Trump is in it for the so called “little-guy” ought take a reality pill, in fact take ten reality pills and wash them down with Oxycontin Juice!

Aside from his ability to “sound” said party trumpets, and break down archaic party walls, what do we really know about a potential Donald Trump Presidency?

Little more than a blow…
