Convert HEIC to PDF in Seconds — No Upload, No Login, Just Drop and Go
Have you ever opened a folder of photos only to find them all in `.heic` format?
If you’re on a Mac or iPhone, you probably have.
And if you’re not, chances are your software either won’t open them or makes converting them a hassle. HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is Apple’s default photo format — great for storage, annoying for compatibility.
The Problem: HEIC Everywhere, PDF Nowhere
For designers, developers, students, and anyone dealing with documentation, being able to convert images to PDF quickly and securely is essential.
But here’s what many online tools get wrong:
* ❌ They force you to upload your files
* ❌ They ask you to log in
* ❌ They store your images in the cloud
* ❌ They have ads, limits, or watermarks
This is why I built [https://heictopdftools.com](https://heictopdftools.com) — a 100% free, private, and local image-to-PDF converter that just works.
What Makes This Tool Different?
✅ No Uploads
All conversions happen in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
✅ Supports Multiple Formats
Not just `.heic`, but also `.heif`, `.jpg`, `.png`, `.webp`, `.svg` — all converted to a single clean PDF.
✅ Mobile & Desktop Friendly
Works on both phone and desktop browsers, no app install required.
✅ Drag & Drop Simplicity
No settings to tweak. Just drag, drop, and download.
✅ Free Forever
No limits, no signup, no paywall.

Why I Made It
I originally created this tool out of frustration while preparing documentation with `.heic` screenshots on my Mac. Tools I tried either required registration or uploaded my sensitive images. That wasn’t acceptable.
So I built a client-side tool using modern web APIs like:
* `FileReader` and `Canvas` for image rendering
* `jsPDF` for PDF generation
* Simple PWA features for fast performance offline
It’s privacy-first and open for feedback.
