There is no doubt that a lot of ventures require long hour for success. But I find it funny that start ups claim that they can change the world and solve problems but insist their employees live in a work bubble. With super long hours, catered lunches, gyms, private bus services — how do you ever have a chance to talk to/observe/engage with how the rest of us live? How can your company add value to my life if you barely interact with the world outside of Silicon Valley?
