Liberty University organization given $20K grant to build home
Liberty University’s Habitat for Humanity Club will aide in restoring their community once again by building a home in the local Lynchburg area. State Farm kick started fundraising with a generous grant of $20,000.This home will be the third the university club has built since its birth in 2014; the club has one year to raise the remaining monies before construction begins.

Liberty University employee, child-porn suspect waives preliminary hearing
A former Liberty employee, Jeremy Cole Whorley, has been charged with ten counts of child pornography. After an official search warrant by the police, Whorley faces up to 95 years in federal prison. This is the second arrest tied to Liberty involving crimes against minors.
