Botto’s second community Access Pass is already live. Our next “partner in access” is none other than SuperRare, one of our most vital long-time partners.
Our story with SuperRare dates back to Botto’s origins. Botto was the first non-human artist to be accepted to SuperRare’s carefully curated list of creators. The collaboration was a perfect match between two collectives eager to explore the boundaries of art with Web 3 tools.
It’s been 52 Genesis Period and 2 Fragmentation Period auctions since then. SuperRare and Botto have walked hand in hand in many of our respective milestones. Botto was a guest artist in SuperRare’s inaugural exhibition in their first pop-up gallery in SoHo, NY, in May 2022. The communities participated in a token swap in July: $BOTTO and $RARE were exchanged in an operation that was at the same time a tool for financial diversification and a sign of commitment to each other’s vision. More recently, Botto was part of SuperRare’s RarePass, a breakthrough approach to digital art collecting.
Today we take one more step in this collaboration. SuperRare’s Access Pass is now available.
Access Passes are mintable assets that provide regenerating Voting Points to its owners. They are designed to become the first point of entry for new users attracted by the artistic and technical breakthroughs of the Decentralized Autonomous Artist, and as a way to build a bridge between sister communities. Access Passes come in two forms: individual APs can be minted for free by stakers, or purchased for 0.03ETH;Community Access Passes are tailor made and shared with other DAOs to onboard members of communities with shared values.

Botto has created 10k access passes for SuperRare community members. In order to be eligible, users must hold at least 100 $RARE. This will allow them to mint an Access Pass for free on Botto’s website.
SuperRare Access Passes generate 175 voting points daily, providing AP owners with the power to train the AI and curate Botto’s art. Also, Access Passes allow holders to earn their way into full ownership and participation in the project through Botto’s rewards programs. AP holders can complete Botto Bounties linked to voting behavior that allow them to earn a total of 1,000 $BOTTO. Once staked, that $BOTTO opens the gate to more rewards: redistributed revenue from sales, retroactive rewards at the end of each 12 week period and future Botto collectibles.

- Hold some $RARE (100 $RARE) to be eligible to mint
- 10k passes available
- Minted directly via Botto website
- Generates Voting Points (175 VP per day)
- Provides eligibility to training and curation layers of Botto
- Provide eligibility to drops and rewards
Access Passes are initially blank canvases. But four weeks after launch, the most voted fragment by SuperRare Access Pass holders will paint itself on the metal card, giving it a unique look and meaning for the rest of time.
