I’ve been saying for years that the biggest drawback to the Internet is that it not only connects people with good intent, but bad intent as well. Someone with a dangerous idea may never act on it if they are simply left to themselves. Believing they are alone with their hunger or thirst they may simply pass through the world without leaving a trail of destruction.

But, if a single person carrying a horrific desire can suddenly connect with another individual who carries the same desire, they can feed off each other until they become emboldened enough to act. No matter what darkness lies in a person’s heart, there is another person walking the earth with the same darkness eating away at them. Alone they may never combust, but mixed like volatile chemicals they become inherently unstable.
