To some extent, not being comfortable with my own vulnerability has prevented me not only from writing my best but also from seeking out diverse opinions on my work. I’ve since found that getting over my pride and the fear of hearing something I don’t want to greatly improves my writing process. Thank you Meg for taking the time to write this, especially as a model for young (female) storytellers to look up to.
