These stats are just a few of the impressive ones Instagram has provided to the users and trust me brands, super users, and individuals alike are taking notice and starting to look to Instagram to improve their business opportunities. What I have noticed more from those who feel confused by how to use Instagram to better improve their business reach is that they aren’t properly utilizing it for prospecting. These 5 ways will help you become a more efficient prospector on the platform and get better engagement from those using it.

  1. Create Brand Specific Content
  • This is a prospecting tool that allows you to specifically apply Brand
    Storytelling on the Instagram Platform. Your brand storytelling is most effective with brand results through photos and the same goes with product results. (a) This is an effective strategy to
    showcase what you, your brand, and/or your service has to offer.

2. Tell A Reactive Story

  • The point of this concept on Instagram is to leverage the human truth or an
    event that will generate immediate engagement from your audience and
    target market. A great strategy is to reference popular based or meme based concepts to
    create an identifying message with your audience but also to do in a way that
    creates a reaction or engagement with them to that particular post.

    how your brand, company, or operation works from an “insider” perspective.

    emotion from your target audience. (a) These are specifically used to create
    a connection with the platform users that are already engaging with your
    brand. (a) This strategy would be to identify what quotes or types of motivation that is
    engaging with your audience the most and then apply them on the platform in
    a visually desirable way.

5. Leverage The Hashtags

  • Instagram is a Hashtag driven social medium that offers business, brands,
    and individuals alike to broaden the reach of their posts, images, and videos
    in a targeted way. (a) This is a very powerful prospecting tool because it is an
    intentional way to identify a particular user or group of users. (b) This Strategy would be to research what hashtags are trending and are the most relevant and then leverage those existing hashtag trends to drive views,
    likes, content, and/or engagement to your profile, brand, and posts on the
    platform.

He told me that Instagram is the #1 lead generator for business online due to the overwhelming statistics and engagement with the users. He goes on to say that large Instagram accounts are even more valuable today than last year because building an Instagram account is three times as hard as it was then because of the algorithm. He says last year I could shout someone and they would pick up 1000 followers easily, and today that count is in the range of 100 to 300.
