Margo, hi,

I think of Pierre and his counterpart, Prince Andrei, as opposite sides of the same coin. They are both incomplete and searching. Prince Andrei is contemplative and uses cold logic and reason as his primary search engines. Pierre is more emotive, jumping into all sorts of situations. To me, neither seem to have any inherent knowledge or insight about life. They both just plow ahead, each using a different skill set.
