I get the principle of testing oneself in training so that then during race day you’re familiar with the level of discomfort. But reading about Kipchoge in relation to the Breaking2 Project, what do you make of his comment about never giving 100% except on race day? Because it seems like you’re advocating doing some 100% exertion runs in training.
