This stood out to me: “the cultural values he wants to keep building within Uber.” From the many, many stories I’ve read about Uber, the “cultural values” seem to be taken from Cards Against Humanity:
- Crush rivals.
- Eat world.
Arianna, I hope that your perspective can contribute to Uber becoming respected not only for its financial success, but for its ethical conduct as well. To this point, Uber seems like the archetypical example of Silicon Valley’s morally bereft attitude that innovation and success are their own justifications.
