How to copy ANY ID on Discord

- You might need an ID to adjust a Discord bot’s settings or to automate any task within Discord.
- Every Discord user, message, role, channel, and emoji has a unique ID.
- You must enable Developer mode first. To do this, go to your Settings > Advanced > toggle on Developer mode
Once it’s enabled, you can now copy any ID that you want.
For Mobile users
- If a mobile user wants to copy the ID of — let’s say — channel, then they need to mention the channel and add a backslash symbol

before it and hit send. - Then they need to copy the message and paste the ID wherever they want to and remove the symbols from it
- The process is the same for any user, emojis, and roles
For Desktop/Web users
User ID
- To copy any user ID, simply right-click on their profile picture and then click on Copy ID
Server ID
- Right-click on the server icon and select Copy ID
Emoji, Role, and Channel ID
- The process for copying the ID for an emoji, role, or channel is also the same. Just right-click on them and select Copy ID.
This will copy the ID to your clipboard, you can now paste it wherever you want.
