Being An Employee Is Not A Curse

In recent times, I have noticed so many young people coming up with different offerings in terms of products, trainings, and services so as to break free from the shackles of employment.
This is a great thing happening to us as young people as it clearly shows that we can articulate our thoughts and develop it into an information and/or transformational product that will have positive impact on others. And this in itself, is a good thing.
However, what is disturbing is that some people who don’t have any idea to package into a product or service are having feelings of not being good enough because they cannot come up with ideas that could change the “world”.
While it is okay not to be complacent, you must also understand that we have been created for different purposes and we thrive in different environment and roles. Your thriving platform might be the role you occupy as an employee and it might be where your impact will be felt the most. If that is so, even if you leave to start up a business, you might not really have a long-lasting impact as you would in the role you occupy as an employee or you might not even be a happy person outside of the job.
This is not to say that you should not try to launch your idea if you have one or work on developing one, all I am saying is that you should be comfortable in your skin and cherish your time as an employee while you set a definite life aim for yourself which will serve as your life growth plan and work towards achieving same.
