Yes, that is how it’s supposed to be — However I don’t think the new Instagram icon is very unique, that’s my whole problem. I think it lags a sense of identity and “soul” — To me it just looks like any other lined/hollow pictogram out there right now. I really don’t believe this new icon is a very strong one, and I think they’re gonna have to rebrand it again, once this whole outline-gradient-color-madness trend is over.
