But will the coders allow this and put themselves out of a job? Or will they allow it because they’ve moved on to much more complex things that will still demand coding?

Personally, I hope it happens sooner rather than later. I’ve been trying to have a web application built for almost 8 years now that no ones seems to be able to pull off. A few years ago I figured it would have been quicker and cheaper for me to learn how to code and do it myself, but I struggle enough with English let alone half a dozen computer languages.
