Actually I hate these ads more than any. I listen to podcasts but I grew up listening to (and still listen to via podcast) public radio programs in Australia that were free of commercials of any kind — including sponsorship messages. I appreciate that squarespace et al fund content I like but find them much more offensive than even interstitial web ads.
