It’s useful once mentally trained but the Windows version is actually more intuitive. Being in UX you doubtless realize that in the absence of sufficient differentiation users will prefer what is easier.

Mac is useful but increases the cognitive load, AND it requires learning a hidden key command with a weird ergonomic pattern.
