First of all, Chicago wanted Zach LaVine and Kris Dunn for Butler. Minnesota wasn’t willing to part with them both. Secondly, Jimmy Butler is a 3x All-Star, top 5 2-way player, and has proven to be clutch many times over. He is in the unfortunate position of having one of the worst front offices in the league fail to build around him. I understand your comment about being an agitator, but I think a lot of that stems from Hoiberg’s incompetence. All in all, to say that an untested draft pick would be a better value is asinine.
