Power In My Belly

It’s been such a long time, since I saw You.
 Seemingly nice, polite
 I hide in plain sight
 Time has come, to fill up my lungs
 And speak my lines, in time
 Pull aside the childish tries
 To control, hold on
 And let go instead
 Into the abyss
 Where men are made
 Where men are defined
 Refined, taken back in time
 Closely intertwined within themselves
 I’m looking at myself
 Go now! I hear loudly
 I can see my strength
 It’s been there all along
 I see power reside in me
 It burns in my belly
 I feel strong, I’m here
