Hi Drew, thanks for the question.

We’re using a mix of traffic sources. Currently the balance tips towards paid media and referrals from partners, with organic/SEO trailing in third place. As we get our content indexed and online it will gradually tip the scales towards longtail organic. Generally speaking if you’re proactively researching an experience, you’ll encounter a relevant guide in one channel or another.

Because we’re aggregating the traffic acquisition across dozens of different guides within some carefully defined audience personas we can do quite clever things around targeted remarketing and tailored recommendations. This lowers our acquisition cost further and lets us benefit from improved LTV.

All in all makes our CPA significantly lower than for individual businesses doing it themselves. I don’t want to get into specifics here but some of the high level numbers will be in our Crowdcube pitch and business plan.

Thanks again!
