Holy Spirit / Ruach haKodesh

The Holy Spirit/Ruach haKodesh will never tell you anything that contradicts the Word of God/Yahweh.

“Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you things to come. He shall glorify Me” (John 16:13, 14).

The Holy Spirit/Ruach Kodesh’s function is

1. Cause you to live by My Laws and put the Torah on your heart: Exodus36:26; Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 8:10 & 10:16

2. To instruct, teach, reveal: Nehemiah 9:20; Job 32:8; Luke 12:12; John 14:27; 15:26; 16:13, 14; Acts 13:2; 1 Corinthians 2: 10, 13; Ephesians 1:16–17; 3:5; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 John 2:20, 27

3. To counsel, guide: John 14:26; 16:13; Acts 11:12; 16:6, 7; 20:22, 23; Romans 8:14; Galatians 5:18

4. To intercede and assist in prayer: Romans 8:26, 27; Ephesians 2: 18; Jude 20

5. To comfort: John 14:16, 26; 15:26; 16:17; Acts 9:31

6. To commission to service (ministry): Isaiah 48: 16; Acts 13:2; 20:28

7. To convict of sin, to strive with sinners: Genesis 6:3; John 16:8–11

8. To give power and boldness: Acts 1:8; Acts 4:31; Ephesians 3: 16; I Timothy l :6, 7

9. To testify that we are the children of God/Yahweh and of Jesus/Yeshua: Romans 8:16; Galatians 4:6; Yeshua. John 15:26

10. To empower the believer to have victory over the flesh: Romans 8:4, 13; Galatians 5:16, 25

11. To inspire to prophesy: Numbers 9:30; 11:25, 29; 2 Samuel 23:2, 3; 2 Chronicles 20: 14, 15; Acts 21:4; 28:25; 2 Peter 1:21

12. To impart life: (I Samuel 10:6, 9; Ezekiel 37:9, 14; Romans 8:11); hope (Romans 15:13); joy (Romans 14: 17; I Thessalonians 1:6; Galatians 5:22); love (Romans 5:5); skill (Exodus 31:2–5); and physical strength (Judges 14:6, 19; 15;14, 15), as well as spiritual strength (Ephesians 3:16).
