Can you tell me about a time when you had to ask for help.

There was a time when I didn’t know how to update my branch and merge it with my master. Every time i tried to push my branch, it would create merge conflicts on git hub. So I asked help from my team mates on how to merge and after that we were able to continue our project with less merge conflicts.

Tell me about a time you had to deal with a difficult colleague. How did you communicate with the colleague effectively?

Describe a situation in which you met a major obstacle in order to complete a project. How did you deal with it? What steps did you take?

One obstacle that I came across was trying to make the bubbles on our game be only clicked once. But after researching and asking for help from my instructors, I was able to accomplish this. I learned that I should research on my own first and that it is okay to ask for help if i still can’t find an answer. Although I couldn't solve this alone, I learned a lot of new coding concepts as I was researching.

Describe a situation in which you felt you had not communicated well enough. What did you do? How did you handle it?

There were times where i forget to read slack and my team is requesting me to merge their pull request. This made it harder for everyone because they couldn’t pull an updated branch since i didn’t merge any new updates on github. But now i know to read my slack all the time, especially since I’m the PM.

What would you do if you were assigned multiple tasks with the same deadline?

Before starting on those tasks, I would review them first and see which ones will take the longest and is hard to do. This way, I know which tasks I should put more time into. I would set a schedule for each task and set my own mini deadlines. After that, I will try to follow this schedule so that I wouldn't have to do all tasks in one day.
