Aphelion News This Week July 19th, 2018 — DEX, iOS & More

A lot has already happened since last week as we’ve made a number of UI changes/additions and bug fixes to the lastest Aphelion Wallet testnet DEX available here:

We are happy to announce the next version (coming soon) will include up to 6 language options as a toggle in the settings page. Expect Chinese, Japanese, Russian, Korean, German & Dutch. These additional 6 language options is not only 5 more than any other existing NEO wallet (only Chinese/English available now), but represents our steadfast mission to bring the ground-breaking Aphelion wallet/DEX to the world stage in advance of our mainnet DEX integration happening next month.

Our plan has always been to build something safe, secure and spectacular and now that we’ve had a chance to share it with a small slice of English speakers, its now time to make it available to those additional regions/speakers.

In addition, to the language updates, we’ll finally be incorporating our key differentiator: committing and claiming APH. As most of you already know, Aphelion is unique in the crypto exchange world (centralized or decentralized) in that it is the only exchange that requires and redistributes its own token as part of trading. Not only is the token the utility mechanism for trading, 80% of the spent APH will be redistributed to all APH holders who commit their APH to the smart contract.

Aphelion will only retain a small amount for ongoing maintenance and updates. This is a unique structure in all of crypto and will undoubtedly disrupt the status quo and ultimately give the community the power as they deserve. We can’t wait to showcase this piece of the puzzle in our next release.

Next, we’ve also finished the Windows installer so for the next version it will be a much easier install for all Window users. Currently, users have to download, unzip and run the .exe file, but that process will be automated with the new installer. So be on the lookout for that.

Lastly, we know a lot of you have been patiently waiting for iOS. In a nut shell, Apple decided to completely change their publishing guidelines right around the time we submitted several weeks ago and previously third party apple dev accounts could submit apps (we had our own third party account) no problem but that changed and so Aphelion needed to open a new Apple dev account which requires a D-U-N-S number (which we now have) and several other steps. We’ve been following all the new requirements and still expect iOS approval and are hopeful we see that this month.

There is alot more still happening behind the scenes, including a major announcement, as we prepare for mainnet next month and we’ll be sure to you keep you posted as further developments unfold.

Have a great rest of the week and weekend!
