John Morris, Business Development and Sales Specialist is speaking @IoTWaterloo May 3rd.
Why are we all in the technology business, especially the IoT technology business? At the beginning of the technology adoption curve you have people who like to build things. And we want to match what we build with people who can buy things. They have a budget. And authority to act. Now. And an appetite for risk.
John Morris’ talk will explore practical ways of getting beyond that risk. How can we help early adopters get comfortable with our technology. How can we find them? And how can we even afford to engage with them? Let’s not forget “we’re not in the free education business”!
John Morris is a business development and sales specialist with practical experience developing successful new business relationships with customers, based on new technology. John’s customer wins have been in business services, financial services, manufacturing, field service, supply chain, and CRM & B2B marketing, gained representing IDC, DEC, Magic RAD, Oracle middleware, Intalio open source BPM, and since 2012 multiple technology startups, including Bosch Software IoT.
