Unappreciated Theater

Can you truly blame those who are not present?

Deep down your incomprehension will lead to resent,

But that can only be said if you choose to remain,

On a theater governed mostly by the arcane.

We see a performance where strings snap

And after they expect us to clap.

Be careful for the scenes tend to be grim,

As for those involved end up with a shattered dream.

So excuse me for not enjoying your show,

I don’t want to get caught in a horrid flow.

Instead let me imagine a new play,

Which for stability I must not pay.
