Check me out!

Well this is it, all of my hard work has finally accumulated in a stick time with my mentor. In full pads we hit the ice with nets, countless number of pucks, and dozens of other people also looking to better themselves in the sport. Skating with all of the equipment on was very hard. I have skated with most of it before but not the helmet and the pants. The helmet was a but small on me which was distracting the whole time(it felt like it was trying to pop my head off!). However, it happened and it was awesome. I worked on passing, shooting, stick handling, and really just getting comfortable with my stick and gear on the ice. My next challenge is to transfer the shooting skills I have developed off the ice and put them on the ice. Shooting while on skates is much harder than it was while having two firmly planted feet!
