These whiteboard challenges are stressful and often challenging and I really enjoyed reading about your approach. I would go as far as to say that this methodology can be applicable in every designer’s everyday life.

A bit of follow up: Did you intentionally introduce the time and return location limitations to this exploration? I would imagine that someone new to the city would not necessarily know, at the time of renting the bike, how long they would need it and at which location they would like to return it. Adding those constraints upfront could, potentially, introduce some anxiety.

I’m visiting Paris this week and they have a bike sharing system in place. Now I’m thinking I should use one just to see how its designed. :)
