Days & Nights

Four Letter Word
Abstract painting by unknown artist

Days and nights poor

Into each other,

And then suddenly

Wine draws a childish painting

On a white shirt.

You have to go home,

Approximately when there’s nothing

Left of traffic but the c.

Yet, again, where is that place?

Not that you forgot,

It’s just easy to get lost

Among silent uncrowded streets,

Where buildings’ upper floors

Are an exhibition of one

Malevich painting.

The roofs are mostly flat,

With equilateral formations

Here and there,

They sting warm air of redeye hours

But laugh is heard

Instead of scream.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
