OK. Today we will study a purely law enforcement topic — automation of the investigate of detailing the connections of a cellular user.

What tools do we need:
1️⃣ Maltego software package https://www.maltego.com/maltego-community/ allows you to visualize data in a convenient graphical form, incl. external data. I recommend watching the following video on using Maltego and open source drilldown software:

2️⃣ Map Developers service https://www.mapdevelopers.com/, which makes it possible to upload the GPS coordinates of the places specified in the detail;
3️⃣ Google Earth service https://www.google.com/earth/versions/ (however, Google Maps https://www.google.ru/maps or Yandex Maps https://yandex.ru/maps/ will do). They make it possible to place on the map the locations of base stations between which a cellular subscriber moved. Services involve batch loading of data;
4️⃣ SMSC service https://smsc.ru/testhlr/, which allows you to check the activity of a phone number for a fee (PING and HLR requests). If you need a non-commercial option, then you can use the Xinit service https://xinit.ru/group_def/, which allows you to bulk bind Russian telephone numbers to the operator and region;
5️⃣ TelPoisk services or analogues that allow you to pay for a batch check of mobile phone numbers in order to identify their actual owners.

Additional sources: an example of an Excel spreadsheet designed to analyze the “civilian” version of the detail of a mobile operator (downloaded through a personal account on the website of the telecom operator): https://www.planetaexcel.ru/upload/iblock/35a/mobile-analysis.xls. You can learn more about its application in the video:

After making minor edits and additions, the table may be quite suitable for use in operational and investigative activities.

P.S. A question about how to load detail data on a Google map arrived … I answer.

1️⃣ Go to https://www.google.ru/maps/
2️⃣ Choose: My places — Maps — Create a map
3️⃣ A new window opens…
4️⃣ Choose: Import — Select a file on the device

However, Google Data Studio https://datastudio.google.com/ allows you to do this in an uncommonly elegant and brighter way.
