Some Wars Start Small: The History of Boko Haram
Andy Warner

Boko Haram…

Nice summary, but leaves out a lot of other variables and is therefore somewhat simplistic. For instance, it seems that Boko Haram's main aim is to wipe out Christianity in the North, and eventually in Nigeria. The number of churches that have been razed beggars belief… in excess of 90%. There are virtually none left in the North East, and the south is filled with Northern Christian refugees with unbelievably horrific stories of beheadings, rape, etc., the modus operandi of extremist islam. Plus, from independence to date, the country has been led by northerners for at least 85% of the time. So, who didn' t develop the villages, towns and cities in the North?? Why have these issues of "poverty", " exclusion", etc. only arisen during the administration of a Southerner??

By the way, I'm a Nigerian living in Nigeria.
